Verizon Attacks Competitors

Recently Verizon has been running adds showing the weaknesses of their competitors. Most notably is the commercial about AT&T. They point out how they have the most cell phone area, and other companies have more dropped calls. Running these commercials should prove to be very beneficial for Verizon, it is making them more popular and seem superior.

  1. I believe these ads may extremely help Verizon. If people believe these ads, then many people will change their plans to Verizon. The ads might just be a waste of time though. Some people might not even care about cell phone area. Again, the commercials might help Verizon.

  2. The new Verizon commercials will more then likely help them out quite a bit. The maps that they show cover most of the nation, while other maps cover close to 25% of what Verizon covers.

  3. AT&T filed a lawsuit in federal district court in Atlanta earlier this month asserting that Verizon Wireless' advertisements mislead customers by suggesting that AT&T subscribers cannot access wireless Internet services throughout its network. AT&T has called the ads blatantly false and has said that the commercials have caused irreparable harm to the company
